“First say to yourself what you would be, then do what you have to do.”

face reality
face the challenge
of struggle to grow
and grow
“I don’t trust words, I trust actions.”

you are not
who you think you are
who you tell yourself you are
who you want to believe you are
who you want others to think you are
you are
what you actually do
and changing that
begins with
brutal honesty with yourself
facing the truth your actions and choices reveal
about who you are
avoiding no ugly truth
no hard feelings
accepting who you are revealed to be
working diligently to understand yourself
and then out of acceptance and understanding
making new, better choices
over and over

a boundary
is not a boundary
if there’s no consequence
for crossing it
learn to set them
learn to enforce them
without reactivity
learn to recognize
when you’re attempting
to control others
without consent
and crossing healthy boundaries
they may not even know
to set
when someone fucks you over, don’t you dare ask yourself, “what did i do to deserve this?” NOTHING. you didn’t do shit. someone taking advantage of your kindness will never be your fault.
Wow…this hits close to home.
you are not
responsible
for the choices
others make
Your feelings are outside your control but you’re responsible for how you react to and express them
your feelings
flow from your thoughts
your mindset
is under your control
even if you haven’t
tamed your mind
yet
you are still
responsible
